Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, emphasized the advancement of Jharkhand’s infrastructure by inaugurating two National Highway projects worth over Rs. 2500 crore in Khunti, Jharkhand. The event, held yesterday, witnessed the virtual laying of the foundation stone by Gadkari, alongside Union Minister Shri Arjun Munda, senior leader Shri Kariya Munda, Shri Sudarshan Bhagat, Member of Parliament, and other dignitaries.
Gadkari highlighted that the projects unveiled include the construction of a 4-lane road from Tupudana to Kundiabartoli, incorporating the Khunti bypass, and the widening and enhancement of the Bero to Khunti section. The development of the Bero to Khunti stretch aims to alleviate traffic congestion and promote growth in the neighboring regions. Moreover, the construction of the Khanti Bypass is anticipated to facilitate the transportation of local goods to markets, fostering economic and social progress in the area.
These initiatives are poised to enhance efficiency by reducing travel time and fuel consumption, thereby curbing pollution. With modern, high-quality road infrastructure, seamless and safe transportation is ensured. The Minister emphasized that such developments will spur economic activities, creating avenues for employment and entrepreneurship in the region.
