RJD’s national spokesperson, Subodh Kumar Mehta, denounced Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary’s remarks, labeling them as “uncouth and insensitive,” despite his elevated position. Choudhary’s comment stirred controversy as he insinuated that RJD chief Lalu Prasad gave a ticket to his daughter, Rohini Acharya, in exchange for the kidney she donated to him.
Mehta criticized Choudhary’s language, emphasizing that his role as deputy CM did not imbue him with the necessary decorum. He pointed out the political desperation of the BJP, attributing it to RJD’s decision to field candidates from marginalized communities like the OBC Kushwaha.
In response, Rohini Acharya, who resides in Singapore, took to social media on X to express her sentiments in Hindi. She affirmed her identity as Laluji’s daughter and stated that donating her kidney to her father was both her duty and an expression of her love for him. She asserted her readiness to sacrifice her life for her family and her home state of Bihar.
